I took a week off from blogging because I was sick with a stomach bug and it rained all week, but alhamdulillah I’m feeling better and the sun came out long enough to snap some photos of my outfit! I love the mix of edge and femininity with the leather and big bow! This olive top by Modanisa is elegant and adds a delicate statement to any look! Tip: It is a shorter top so I suggest tucking it into looser pants or a skirt or wearing a vest on top to add more coverage like I did!
A little update on my life recently: I have been really stressed with nursing school. Not because of the school work-the workload has actually been easier on me this semester! I have been really worried about where I am going to work and what life will be like after I graduate! It’s so scary to think about life after university. Going to school has just become my comfort zone. I put in my application to the labor and delivery department at our local hospital because it just made sense to try and get experience in the birth center since my goal is to become a nurse practitioner of women’s health one day! I was so stressed about getting a job that my left eye twitched non-stop for a month straight! I’m not even kidding I convinced myself I had a neurological disease and went to the eye doctor where he told me it was stress and told me I also needed glasses! lol So now I have some glasses that help me while I drive haha. But anyways I got an interview in labor and delivery which got me SO excited! I was told that there wasn’t a big chance they would call me for an interview because they don’t hire new grads very often. During my interview I felt like I made a complete fool out of myself because I was so nervous and spent the next week replaying the embarrassing things I said in my mind and convincing myself I didn’t get the job. I had given up hope when I finally got a call saying that I got the job in labor and delivery! I feel so blessed and excited for this next chapter in my career! Thank you guys for always being so supportive! :D
Hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week :)
