What is wudu-friendly makeup you ask? These products are designed so that when you wash your face during wudu, water still penetrates the skin! I have been wearing Glow products on a day to day basis for about 3 months now, so I feel I can give a pretty solid review. Once I found the shades that suit me, I have absolutely loved these products! They are made of all-natural and nourishing ingredients so they don’t clog pores and are actually good for your skin!
Here are the products that I am wearing in both photos above and that I personally recommend:
Cream Blush in “Peach”: I love using this as corrector under the concealer! It is the same consistency as the concealer just a tad bit more sheer.
Glow and Restore Cream Concealer: Shade “Light”. I can’t tell you how much I love this stuff! It’s made with shea butter and cocoa butter so it is super nourishing and smells divine. It gives great coverage and a subtle glow, which really brightens your under eyes!
Mineral Veil: I love using this to set my under eye concealer! It’s really finely milled.
Mineral Powder Foundation: I am in the shade “Porcelain”. This foundation gives medium to build able coverage and does not look cakey on the skin what-so-ever. I love spraying rose water on my skin as a setting spray after I’m finished with my base to make it look more natural and fresh!
Cotton Candy Blush: This is my favorite blush shade from the range. It’s comes out as a neutral pinky-peach color on my skin. If you look at it in the pan you will see flecks of sparkle but they do not transfer on the skin!
Pink Blush: This is a matte blush. It is also one of my favorites. It is a bit of a deeper shade of pink than “Cotton Candy”. I like to dab a small amount of this shade right on the apples of my cheeks.
Highlighting Powder: Can you believe they even have a highlighter!? It’s just enough for a beautiful subtle glow. You may be able to detect it on my cheeks in the first picture!
Medium Bronzer (matte): This is a great bronzer shade for my complexion. It’s not too warm. I would have liked to try the “light” shade as well. I used it to lightly define my cheekbones.
Lipstick in Shade “Pink”: I am so pleasantly surprised!! This lipstick is SO pigmented and absolutely beautiful. It has a creamy-matte finish. The color I like is called “Pink”, but comes out as more of a light peach shade on my lips. Please note the lipsticks are not wudu friendly and must be removed beforehand. However, they are completely natural and contain no toxic ingredients! Perfect for everyday use.
I recommend trying out the sample sets before purchasing full sized products. These products are highly pigmented and only need a small amount, so they tend to look different on the skin than they do in the pan.
Let me know if you try out any of these products and what your thoughts are on the Glow by Claudia Noor range!
Sorry for my absence this week! I’ve been running around trying to get all my stuff organized for school next week! Love you guys!
