I hope you all had an amazing Eid!! Sorry this post is a bit late, I have been taking a break to spend time with my family. :) My sisters and I always keep it pretty simple on Eid, believe it or not I didn’t even buy anything new to wear (which I regretted the day before!!) but since we don’t have any big parties to attend it was great for the daytime. — Oh and poor Omar is in his scrubs because he came to say hi during his lunch break! He had a nice outfit on during the morning Eid prayer. ;)
On the first day of Eid, we went to the Eid prayer in the morning (who else had an extremely hard time getting up that early?!?!) and then played a trivia game with our mosque and divided into teams to play against each other! It was so much fun because everyone got so competitive! My mom was not planning on playing, but last minute was placed in some random team and they actually won!! lol! Then we had Free Birds cater for all the youth and went home and took a nap and pretty much vegged out the rest of the day lol! We organized a volleyball tournament with all of our friends the second day (we all sucked but had a blast) and the next day our mosque rented out iJump, a trampoline park. We had the best Eid! I hope yours was even better!!
